Airen’s Oddities is a unique boutique of inspired gifts, jewelry, and both new and vintage clothing. The shop also provides on-the-spot professional jewelry / watch repair and clothing alterations. If you (or someone you care about) loves to wear unique or dramatic accessories that sets you apart from everyone else, this is THE PLACE for you!
Lynel Airen, the shop’s proprietress, found her inspiration for this one-of-a-kind boutique from her family roots. “Growing up in a disposable society, my family practiced a ‘maintain/repair or recycle’ way of life that I have carried into my business,” Airen reflected on. “Why throw away a treasured piece of jewelry or item of clothing because it’s broken or doesn’t fit? Why not fix it or turn it into something else? Save your closet while saving the planet!”
Thanks to Airen, we can now all benefit from her creativity, while also feeling good about making less consumer waste. This summer, Airen’s Oddities is featuring some awesome new items on consignment from Lady Hawk, featured on the Netflix show “Steampunk’d.” Airen’s Oddities is also featuring some intriguing new art, including prints and canvasses from the talented New Orleans-based photographer “ZombieBoy.”
Next time you’re looking for a truly unique accessory or gift that sets you apart from the same-old commercial goods, stop into Airen’s Oddities. This tiny boutique offers a full-service shopping experience with creative designs.
Airen’s Oddities is located at 1023 Commercial Drive, along “The Boardwalk” in the back of Railroad Square Art Park. Opening hours are from 11am – 7pm Tuesday through Saturday. Find out more information on their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/airens.oddities/
