South of Soho Cooperative Gallery is the oldest artist run Co-op art gallery in Tallahassee. The Co-op is made up of eight artists that devote all their energies into making incredible pieces of work. The gallery was originally made to allow local artist to team up, share expenses and create a fun laid back environment where the public could come and enjoy all the awesome pieces of art on display.
The gallery recently decided to bring their talented artist to Railroad Square after being located in the same space for 15 years! They have become part of the incredible atmosphere that the park has to offer and have done so by having an opening reception every First Friday. The opening receptions always have new art, food and excellent company. South of Soho is currently getting their gallery up to their standards after the move and plan on having a Grand Re-opening event once the transition is complete.
We encourage anyone that enjoys being involved in art to come stop by the gallery. There are excellent pieces that would make perfect additions to someone’s home or office. The South of Soho Cooperative is open First Fridays, Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm, and on special weekend happenings at Railroad Square.
South of Soho Cooperative Gallery is located 1030 Commercial Drive in Railroad Square Art Park.
